RELEASE IN FULL
THIS IS A FULL, COMPLETE AND FINAL RELEASE OF ANY AND ALL CLAIMS
I have read and understand this document or have requested somebody to read and
explain it to me.
I fully understand that cave exploring, climbing or cave-related activities may present a
risk of hazard to me. I understand that in spite of all precautions which have been taken I may
sustain an injury or death while participating in any cave-related activities. I further am aware
that the States of Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee have adopted recreational use statutes and/or
limitations on landowner legal liability to protect landowners allowing individuals such as myself
to engage in recreational activities on privately and/or publicly held lands.
In consideration for the owner of the land on which I now enter, I hereby forever release
and discharge the landowner and any of his agents, employees or representatives from any and all
claims of any type that I might have in my personal capacity or any representative of my estate
might have. I acknowledge the no representations of any type have been made to me concerning
the safety or lack of hazards on the landowner’s property.
I am fully aware of the dangers, whether open or obvious, in engaging in this recreational
activity. I acknowledge that no one is obligated to direct me on how to engage in such activities
and to the extent that I receive any advice, the same is strictly on a voluntary type basis. With all
this knowledge, I hereby forever voluntarily release, discharge and agree to hold harmless and
indemnify the owner of the property where I am engaging in such recreational activities, any of
his agents or employees and any individuals who may be coordinating any trip on such property
and/or providing voluntary advice. This Release is to cover any and all liability claims of any
type or causes of action which arise out of or in any way associated with any loss or injury,
including my own death, that may be sustained by me while participating in any cave-related
activities on the owner’s property and with any person or group coordinating a trip to such
property. This Release is to be true, whether it due to the negligence of the property owner, the
group, the coordinator of the group or any participates in the group.
I fully understand the nature and extent of the Release that I am making. I do this in my
desire to participate in the activity and understand that there are hazards that may be associated
with the activity in spite of any and all preparations that might have been made by any party
participating in such activity. I know there are hazards and in consideration of being allowed to
participate I hereby do make this full, complete and final release of any claims that I might have
or any representative of mine might have.
